Words fail

I've got a lot of things to write, but I can't seem to put the right words to it.

One thing for sure, days are getting brighter each day. I would like to believe the curse has been slowly lifted over even though things could go wrong at any point from here. But I am grateful I don't wake up feeling bad anymore.

Nonetheless, I do feel insecure living in uncertainties. I wish I could peek into the future and see what it has for me. But right here right now, patience is a virtue. A lil patience, a lot of faith is what I keep on telling myself everyday to keep going.

Putting my faith in Him, as He will arrange my life accordingly. One day it will be my turn to get my prayers answered. And til the day arrives, I am going to keep on praying and hoping.

Crunch time

September/October crunch time is O V E R. Alhamdulillah.

You know when suddenly at one time everything needs your attention. That's how I was the last 2 months. I didn't expect the purchase of house involves a lot of side things to be paid. Kahkah. Innocent sungguh saya. These 2 months alone I have to spend quite a lot to settle few things for the house. Insurance and roadtax renewal some more. Kereta pun tetiba nak tukar bearing la apa la. Plus, I was in great stress last month that I took an escape to Pulau Besar despite being broke. Lol. Since I've already borrowed large amount from Mak for the house segan dah nak mintak lagi so I worked extra hard this 2 months.

Aside from taking side jobs here and there, another tips that I read and really worked is to give more when you need more. Like seriously it does wonder. At the time where I really had to fork out money to settle things I would just chip in at any donation drives. This is not about bragging my donations or whatnot but this is simply just highlighting the point that sedekah really gives you more. And of course, never leave out your parents. Initially I negotiated with Mak saying I can't give her sekian sekian for this month but I worked extra and figured out I can still give her what I give her as usual.

Alhamdulillah.

Que sera-sera, aight? :)

Baking butter cake

Bila duduk sini, macam ramai pulak rerakan yang saya tengok berkebolehan untuk baking. But not in my case. I prefer cooking rather than baking simply because when cooking, I can simply add in or take out anything to my likings. On the other hand, baking needs precision in the amount of ingredients, as well as the steps. A single mistake could make you toss your end product into the trash. Plus, baking needs patience, which I am very lack of. HAHA..

But today, I kinda feel like baking. I dunno why. Tiba-tiba teringin butter cake. Normally when I googled for recipe I would combine a few recipes and made it into my own. But I realized I can't do the same while baking. I need to stick to one recipe..which is so boring. Booooo~

Mixing the butter and the sugar.

It took me a while before the butter and sugar went "kembang"

I wanted to put chocolate chunks in between with hope that it could melt. But it didn't turn out as I wish, it became something like chocolate chips gitu. Hmmmmm...

Before putting into the oven

The end product. The chocolate wasn't sprinkled beautifully, I know. Heh

Alhamdulillah the cake turned out okay. This is sorta like my first cake. All this while I've been assisting, but this particular cake, I made it from the scratch, on my own! Heh..Haruslah bangga that it deserves a blog post.

My first butter cake :)

Next time I will try to improvise the butter cake with more flavour and colour perhaps?

Thank you Skype!

Last December, I've finally managed to bring Mak to buy a laptop. She never really owns one, like really for her personal use.

I downloaded Skype and Yahoo Messenger for her laptop. Taught her how to basically use 'em. Since I know how easily she can forget stuffs I put the passwords on a virtual sticky note on her desktop.

Since then, it's easier to talk and "see" Mak in Skype. The very firssssst time we Skyped, she was having trouble to enable her webcam. I had to describe the webcam button with a very simple term "Mak cari yang ada segi empat dengan tiga segi kat depan dia"

Tapi sad to say, now that Mak has Skype, I only talk to her once in 2 weeks. Dulu with regular phone call, I call her almost every weeks! Maybe because I could see her in the webcam so it felt so much closer. Plus Mak only goes online on Skype whenever I texted her.

But today strangely enough suddenly I saw she was online. I only realize it when I about to log off. So I logged in back, check my phone and yes, I got a text from her when I was downstairs having lunch "Nak mintak tolong.Telmak skype"

I called her and she was having problem logging in into her account for some website. Problem is, Abang did all the registration for her and Abang forgot what did he put as Mak's username and password. Typical Mak - benda leceh2 ni malas nak buat! hahaha..

We spent like 50 minutes finding ways to retrieve the username. At last I just told Mak to re-register despite the fact that she kept on saying "ala leceh la Mak ingat haritu banyaakkkk nak tulis kat register tu". I stayed with her one by one, telling her what to put into the address box, convinced her that yes, Malaysia indeed is listed in one of the country and to rewrite her password when they asked her to confirm the password.

Long story short, we managed to retrieve Mak's username when we were trying to reregister her account. Little did I know Mak had texted me about 2 hrs before I realized and called her. Mak was so thankful and she kept saying "nasibla adik ada". Half-joking, half-serious, I took the opportunity and said "hehehe takpela Mak, kalau nak bagi seratus dua ratus euro pun ok jugak" and we burst into big laughs.

Thank you Skype, for turning this 10,998km distance closer.

Pulangkaaaaaaaaaaaan

Teruk sangat dah hilang mood blogging ni. Haha..mana dia mood blogging ku? Pulangkannnnnnnnnnn pulaaaaangkaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnn!!

Anyway it's almost the end of February now. Lepastu masuk March, April, May and walla, June. Lately I've been stressing out about finishing the requirements. Not that I'm well below the targeted treatments, tapi sebab what I've been planning did not go accordingly. Patients cancel la, lambat bangun tido la. And it really pisses me off. This month only, I had TWO cancellations during my precious precious cons session. I'm so disappointed. Feeling dia macam dikecewakan kekasih gitu. HAHA!

Tapi as an effort to maximize the number of treatment, I've started planning to bring 2 patients in a session. I hope this works out well...I just had my crown and bridge practical exam last Tuesday. I hope that's gonna be my last OTL session ever. Tskk cuak kebebeh!

Other than that everything seems to be pretty much the same. Takde pergi jalan, takde buat benda baru nothing major. My next break would be this easter, which would be in another a month and a half lebih kurang. As much as I needed a break, I secretly hope it's not as long as what it is. Gile kau 2 minggu tu boleh settle macam2 patient ok. Hahaha poyo betul dia ni. I might be going to German to visit Wawa. I can't wait! Rindu nak jumpa budak sekolah.

At this stage, memang terasa time flies pretty fast. Can't believe I'm actually a 4th year. Really really really hope things are going well this year so I can enter my final year smoothly. Final year oh myy tak cayanya sayaaaaa. Nervous sebenarnya bila fikirkan future ni tapi takpelah, we take it slowly and just go with the flow. Heh!

Misinterpreted

Ada banyak benda merewang-rewang dalam otak but none of them were successfully translated into words. Pasal hidup. Pasal kerisauan. Pasal drama. Pasal itu. Pasal ini.

But I'm afraid I can't put it properly into words and people might take it wrongly. Sebab this few days I've been observing things around me and saw how some people can really messed up badly in communicating things. Like, maybe the intention is good, the person itself is good but somehow when they speak, things came out so wrongly. Maybe the tone, maybe the words, maybe language barrier, iono what's wrong but hmm begitulah, it just sounded impolite.

Other than that nothing much is happening. Exam is in two weeks. Tapi I have 1 practical and 1 proficiency test this week. Hopefully everything goes fine.

Of indecisive decision

Oh know, it's Sunday already =(( There goes my weekend! Noooooooooo...

Oh wait tomorrow is a holiday so yay for another day to laze around!

How come my weekend went so fast? I actually went up to Galway last Friday. It was a very indecisive decision. At first we were supposed to go to Dublin Games for futsal but apparently there aren't enough girls team participating this year. So what the heck kan takkan nak pergi lawan satu team je bazir masa gua je.

I gave a looooootttt of thoughts before going to Galway. Weekends are like the most precious thing to me since I started 4th year. During weekdays I always leave home at 8.20 and will only be back after 5.30 or so. At night I had to force myself to do some reading for lecture / any new or complicated treatment that I'm going to do the next day. Ok lah memang tak lama pun study every night I only spent like 1 hour or so tapi after a long tiring day, that's pretty much how long I can tolerate.

was greeted that nite with a delicious maggi goreng and chicken tandoori

went to Salthill and saw this old guy swimming with his dog T__T

chillin' like a villain yaw!

Tapi since Monday is a bank holiday I finally gave in and took the 2pm bus to Galway. The bus ride was a lot better than the first one I had last year. The weekend was well spent with a lot of singing, eating, watching ghost stories and just lazying around. No books, no patients' problem. It was also the first time I went to sleep at 4 in the morning for this semester y'all! Quite impressive innit selama ni by pukul 12 dah tido!

I came back home this morning with the 8.30am bus. Yes I am so determined like that. Guilt feeling starts to kick in as well as the body has started to get mad with the lack of sleeping time and comfortable sleeping place. Mengada betul tau kau ni. The bus ride to Cork only took 3 hours! By 11.30 I reached Cork. Stroll around the bazars in town and took bus home from the city.

Sampai-sampai rumah pun bukan nye study pun. Tidied up the room, gathered the dirty clothes to be washed and SLEEP! I miss my bed choooo much. Up until now NO academic thing has been accomplished. I might just save them for tomorrow or the day after tomorrow or 2 days after tomorrow or ok ok we geddit already.

On other note I really hope the people won't try to be funny and delay the scholar for this month. With the balance in my account, I don't know if I can even survive one week with it. Wuwuu....

Of treating an old man and a young girl

Sooooooo I had my first paediatric patient today. It was grand, really. My lil patient was such an angel. Her mother left her alone for a while as she needs to go for a checkup at CUH and she behaved really well. They are from somewhere in Southeast Asia anyway so it was easier to communicate with her mom (not really with the child coz well, she's getting the Irish accent already)

She was even excited to get her radiograph taken. Lil girl, lil girl, u don't know what's waiting for you in the next few weeks. Unfortunately she has 4 teeth need to be filled. That means FOUR unpleasant injections on all 4 quadrants of your mouth (Upper Left, Upper Right, Lower Left, Lower Right) I can say, it's gonna be a rather uncomfortable experience for both me the dentist and the kid. *shrugs* Let's just hope for the best!

She came in all smiles like this..

But she might end up looking like this later T__T

Earlier this morning I had a really old guy for my patient. He is in his late seventies and aside from some heart condition, he's a rather fit man. He dresses really nice too.

I kinda reminded myself from the day before that I had to force my English accent out. YES my spoken English is not that good. Since I'm dealing with a very old man I had to tell myself to speak clearly. You see, it takes a lot of effort to speak English properly. I always got my tongue either tied or twisted. LOL.My least favourite word would be STERILIZATION / STERILIZING. My tongue feels like falling out everytime I need to say those freaking words. I have to be fully energize to speak a good English. The man praised me saying my English is good. Dah kena puji teros kembang, lepas tu terus speaking lintang pukang resulting in me repeating myself twice as he can't really understand what I was saying. Haha. #stupidgirlpantangdipuji

Whichh bring me to my next point - if we speak without a good accent they won't understand. Seriously, like if you go and carry on with the way you speak Manglish with your patient, it's gonna be quite hard to communicate. So don't blame the so-called budak oversea balik berlagak cakap cam omputih. Haha, tapi saya tak rasa lah saya balik cakap English ada accent. My tongue is heavily "nourished" with belacan, cilipadi and what not that it can't get used to any other accent anymore.

Okay now there you go. How I spent a day treating 2 person of 2 extreme ages. One my youngest patient and another my oldest patient I ever had so far. Another boring stories about me treating patient, yes? I hope someday I could find something to blog that is not related to them. For the time being, you would just need to deal with my EXCITEMENT on meeting all those people. Heheh..

Reminiscing

Once upon a time, there was a tavern
Where we used to raise a glass or two
Remember how we laughed away the hours,
Think of all the great things we would do

Those were the days, my friend
We thought they'd never end
We'd sing and dance forever and a day
We'd live the life we'd choose
We'd fight and never lose
For we were young and sure to have our way

Then, the busy years went rushing by us
We lost our starry notions on the way
If, by chance, I'd see you in the tavern,
We'd smile at one another and we'd say

Those were the days, my friend
We thought they'd never end
We'd sing and dance forever and a day
We'd live the life we'd choose
We'd fight and never lose
Those were the days, oh yes, those were the days

Just tonight, I stood before the tavern
Nothing seemed the way it used to be
In the glass, I saw a strange reflection
Was that lonely woman really me?

Those were the days, my friend
We thought they'd never end
We'd sing and dance forever and a day
We'd live the life we'd choose
We'd fight and never lose
Those were the days, oh yes, those were the days

Through the door, there came familiar laughter
I saw your face and heard you call my name
Oh, my friend, we're older but no wiser
For in our hearts, the dreams are still the same

Those were the days, my friend
We thought they'd never end
We'd sing and dance forever and a day
We'd live the life we'd choose
We'd fight and never lose
Those were the days, oh yes, those were the days

Don't drink...or mouthwash(?) and drive

Awwwww second posts in a week, that's a pretty good start innit? Well, I am in a good mood today coz I had a fairly uncomplicated patient this afternoon.

The day started pretty rough as my patient came into the clinic an hour late. Apparently she's been waiting in a wrong room for almost an hour before she finally found her way up to the restorative clinic. At first I was slightly happy (haha!) that I won't need to do any fillings today. I know, right teruk kan? People will usually be disappointed if the patient did not turn up tapi saya happy plak. Heheh.

I was a bit nervous when I treated my morning patient. I had to put IRM in her tooth and I've never used that material before. It hardens fairly quickly and it was so hard to tuck it into patient's cavity. Did not get to do any fillings today but I have about 3-4 fillings to be done on her later. *phewhh*

Later on that day I had a patient. He works with a tv station and he has quite a bad gingiva recession. Something that looked like this :-

He is currently put under a perio maintenance "program" and I was supposed to do some cleaning on his teeth. He even had a splint - something that was put on the crown of the anterior 6 of his teeth to keep them together. I was so afraid to touch the gum coz I didn't want the teeth to fall out or something. Seriously like the gingival recession is so severe that I could see the furcation of the root. But thank God he was such a nice and easy patient. He was so patient with me and the way he thanked me made me felt so good. When I was scaling him he even fell asleep okay. Kadang-kadang saya saja blow the air supaya dia terbangun. wakakaka jahat gila saja je nak testtt dia tido ke dia penat bukak mulut lama-lama. hahahhahaa..

As I was taking his history, he shared an interesting story with me about a mouthwash. Do y'all know that most mouthwash sold in the market contains alcohol as it was supposed to give a cleaning effect in the oral cavity. So there's this one time a jockey went through a "breathing test" using a breathalyzer before a race. He failed the test twice eventhough he has given up alcohol for a few years. That was then they realized it was because of the mouthwash. So unfortunate right, sia-sia je tak dapat bertanding sebab cuci mulut. haha..

All in all I think I'd prefer older Irish people than the young ones. Their old people are very nice and so pleasant looking and they are friendlier. Tapi tapi tapi next week I will get a really old patient. Like 77 or something. tsk...hopefully we could communicate well.

I've got a once in a lifetime (of 4th yr) Friday morning off tomorrow. I'm so happyyyyyy can watch Glee tonight yeayyyyyy

September 22, 2010

I am a bruxist

I am due to come up with another post aren't I? Huhuhu...apakah saya akan menghapdet blog only once a week? We'll see how it goes ya? Still adjusting to my new life.

Last Friday I had an orthodontic session. Almost semuorang saya cakap saya tengah belajar dentist akan cakap wahhh kaya la nanti kalau boleh buat braces. Tapi kalau dengan orang-orang cengeh kat ortho dept ni, I dunno whether I would still have interest in orthodontics. Was supposed to trim our own model but mine went missing. I practically went all over the possible places - changing room, locker room, C&B lab but still couldn't find it. Was shot a very angry look by my supervisor and the lab guy that made me teared up a bit. Drama drama drama. Haha!

The next Monday, turned out my model was in my friend's locker. I was so relieved and slightly mad as well. I went through a hell of Friday morning because of this. And now I had to use up my free Wednesday afternoon to catch up with the ortho session.

Tapi tapi tapi that Friday afternoon in OTL Prof McC's made a good remark on my crown prep. Legaaaa sikit hati yang lara ni. I dunno if he could tell I was having bad day and just wanted to cheer me up or what but it really brightened up my day. Mengada lebih saya ni kena puji sikit dah kembang.

Oh oh and now that we are preparing ourselves to meet real patients we had to assess each other in the clinic. So far I found out that I have bruxism and that my jaw is kinda misaligned! Bruxism is an involutary habit of clenching and grinding your teeth. I'd say my contributing factor would be stresses and my misaligned teeth. The unexplained intermittent headache and throbbing pain in my back teeth are prolly caused by this habit. Huhu...I'm thinking of getting an orthodontic treatment. It would be handy if I could do it here but the cost is kinda scary and definitely not affordable. sobs.

Last weekend we organized an Open House for our friends here. It was tiring but it was worth the effort. At least it gave us a chance to catch up with everyone (who came that is) Although there were some talks behind the back that are very unnecessary I'm glad it went well. I hoped everyone felt the same too. My weekend was gone just like that. I wanted to do some catching ups with friends back at home but haishk..tak sempat. Lagipun sekarang ni musim raya lagi. Buang karan je nak ingat saya yg jauh di perantauan ni. sobs.

Hmmm I guess that's all for now. Thank God it's almost halfway thru the week already. The days passed by so fast nowadays. Pegi klinik pegi lab pegi kelas pergi pagi balik petang malam penat tido. Sooooo can't wait for the weekend. Lagi-lagi the free weekends where I can spend time for myself.

Just keep swimming, just keep paddling

Gosh, I miss being a frequent blogger. Gone already the days where I can spend like 20-30 minutes yapping yapping things that I feel/going through daily. Nowadays I'd be spending 8.30-5.30 at school and when I'm back home, I'd be too tired to write anything or too busy sorting out things.

It's been my second week of being a 4th year and things have started to be clear bit by bit. Not that much, but at least there are improvements. I've been seeing more patients and I've been making more and more mistakes but hey, I'm learning, ya? Making mistakes are common, ya?

The thing that people don't quite understand what's so tiring about being a dental student can't really be explained well. Normal patient-doctor/med student life would be going for ward rounds checking patients that is already being classified what's wrong with them. The patients are there, lying around waiting to be treated. In short, the patients come to them. As opposed to that, we have to get our own patients from the waiting list, we've to ring them, asking whether they are available to come for treatment, make sure they come for the treatment and be prepared for disappointments in case they didn't turn up. It has to be done every week and it's so frustrating if we couldn't get a patient for certain slot coz that would cause us a requirement. Yeap, that's another concern - the REQUIREMENTS. They are a lot, and they haunt most of our lives T___T

Anywaysss I'd say I've been getting interesting patients so far. One of them used to be an alcoholic, has had his pituitary gland removed and had rheumatic fever. He's quite old but he's wants to start off a new life with his teeth, if you know what i mean. He's quite determined to take care of whatever left in his mouth but the teeth prognosis are quite poor. Let's hope I could do something for him. The patient I had this morning she has quite a few problem. She has anxiety, depression, schizo and has a few suicide attempts before. But with treatments and supports of medications, she has seen the silver lining in the cloud and has started to take life positively.

The lesson I learned from my patients are, never give up wherever/whatever life has drove you to. Sure you are disappointed, you are tired and you wish things don't go that certain ways, but why would you make it worse? Eh eh tibe2 emosional plak. Hahaha..

Oklah sebnanye stress ni I can't find my old glasses. The one that I'm using now to post this entry has higher power and it'll give me headache soon. Have a nice day my dear blog reader (if I still have any) and selamat berusaha start puasa 6. I'm yet to start anyway. I'm busy sorting out my life and being hungry sometimes doesn't help. lol. padahai dulu time puasa ok jaaaa...Terimalah gambar raya ketiga dari saya..heheheh

Of finally manage to publish a post again

Nowadays it's so hard to find the right motivation to stay right until the end of sentence and click PUBLISH POST. Ntah kemana hilangnya semangat tu pun saya tak tahu. Mungkin dah tua and dah kurang semangat kot. Waceyh..tua la sangat nak kena lempang ke?

Of School.

Orientation started last Monday. Nothing much done just some reminders on cross infection control, immunization and some other support stuffs. Then we were free until today. At first I raaage upon the thought of asking us to start school early and left us classless, labless, clinicless for the rest of the week but now I'm quite thankful for that. It gave me time to arrange my life, settling stuff like doing Garda Card (immigration card) and buying essentials to start this new sem. Considering the tight schedule I'll be having, there is no way I can do that had the classes started already.

...and speaking about tight schedule, I was kinda shocked to see how busy we are gonna be this year. It's 9 to 5 Monday to Friday with exception on Wednesday. Itupun on Wednesday morning we have lecture that starts as early as 8.30am and finish up until 12.30. That is one hell of a long series of lecture! The rest of the week I'm either gonna be in the clinic (3 sessions), OTL lab, prosthetic lab, crown & bridge lab, or in the dental surgery.

With that, I really need to be mentally and physically prepared for this new academic year. Every year has its own difficulties. 1st year we have to adapt to the new environment. 2nd year is filled with a lot of subjects and exams. 3rd year is the start of clinical year..and now 4th year doubles (or triple?) the amount of clinical stuff did in 3rd year.

Of house renovation.

We asked our landlord to remove the bathtub and replace it with a shower place because the bathtub is ancient and it's more convenient to have a shower place rather than a bathtub. However he miscalculated our holiday and the mini renovation only starting to take place this week. That left me and Dayah with no choice but to use our friend's place to shower since the renovation is still ongoing. Gone already the days where I can shower whenever I feel like it because now I have to walk about 30-40m if I want to do so. I hope the renovation is done by this week coz my class is starting next week.

I guess that's all updates on my life for the time being. Ramadhan is approaching the end already. Cepat sungguh masa berlalu. I hope this masa-berlalu-dengan-cepat feeling remains throughout the year. And oh yes, I'm planning to go back again this winter. Please pray that I could find a good deal and that my supervisors are kind enough to let me go earlier!

Hey Soul Sister

Dear blog,

I've been meaning to update, really. But everytime I click "create post" my mind goes blank and blur and my mood snapped away hence the explanation behind the lack of updates. I'm sorry my soul sister, it's not my intention to leave you behind =S

There are so many things to tell. Of my summer holiday to Indonesia. Of the things I did back home. Of what has been going around in my mind lately and what are my aims and targets post-summer holiday. I'll find strength when I'm done battling tomorrow yah?

Anywaysss I hope anyone who came across this could spend a lil time to pray for my success. It's a second chance that I really don't want to mess.

Last but not least...selamat berpuasa untuk semua umat Islam. Semoga Ramadhan ini yang lebih baik dari Ramadhan yang sebelumnya. Saya disini berpuasa 18jam hihihi tak lawak sangat lah especially kalau dah pukul 7 malam camni.

De-cluttering

Today I spent the entire of my waking up time to decluttering shits in my room. Yeap all this while I've been living in shits...sort of.

I'm a person who treasures every single thing that could hold a memory of certain event. I still have the tickets to almost all movies I've watched since high school til before I started studying in Cork. I retained all the tickets to concerts, entrance to museum/recreational park that I have been. I still have some stuff I did in KMB. And the worse part? I still have stuffs like facial creams and whatnot from 7 years ago. LOLOLOLOL.

de-shitting process started

almost gave up that I stopped doing a lot of time. LOL. could have finished earlier had I not drifted away

3+1 bags full of shits that I've been keeping

Anyhoo I still couldn't get myself to throw away the tickets I've been keeping from the yesteryears. So much for de-cluttering eh? It's just they are now properly kept in boxes with all my birthday/raya cards. Believe it or not I still keep the raya cards I got since primary school! Just in case the tradition has extinguished in the time where my children/grandchildren are growing up, I can show off to them how we used to celebrate raya. gagaga...

Nantilah bila ada mood I'll upload pictures of the momentos I've been keeping and some of my pictures from the years before.

Endo exams and series of unfortunate events

I did my endodontics practical exam today. wuwuwuwuu...I think I did not obturate the endoview well enough. The voids can be clearly seen. Andddd I only found 2 canals for my lower molar. But it's the 3rd molar, so it's not impossible pun if the tooth had only 2 canals instead of 3. TAPI TAHU TAK TAK TENANG TAU PERASAAN INI!

I hope everything is okay and they'll let me pass. Please....pwetty pwetty please?

Today I've got a series of unfortunate event. Ok takdela banyak sangat. About 2 like that. TAPI KALAU INCLUDE EXAM TU JADI 3 LAH. Pagi-pagi I heated up the vegetable soup that I made 2 days ago. I went upstairs to have my ritual breakfast-in-front-of-laptop. About 30 minutes passed then only I realized I forgot to turn off the stove. Habis hangus terbakar everything...and the awful smell still lingered until now!

Unfortunate event numero uno, I planned to go to the city to get my flight ticket and do some shopping for summer. I planned to walk from hospital but I don't know soon after I stepped out from the hospital, I had second thought and went to Wilton instead. I was in Penneys, happily choosing things and when I was about to pay, I realized I left my purse at home! OKlah sebenarnya this is fortunate and unfortunate event. Unfortunate because I left my purse. Fortunate because I didn't walk all the way to town just to walk back home in frustration because I left my purse! Huhu..

I had the staff to hold my things as I ran back home to get my purse - the wonderful thing about living so close to the shops. heheh..

Teringin banna thai..tp kena jimat duit. So i made my own..not too bad...

Balik-balik tu since I had craving for Banna Thai's pad thai, I made my own instead. Mahu beli but Im on a very tight budget now...buat lah sendiri. Bolehlah makan kalau sekadar nak melepas craving..

So busy to come out with words now. So I leave you all with MY video :P

Of life's future plan

Takde idea mau update apa la.. Life has been pretty much the same. When I'm not at lab, I'll be at home. When I'm not lazy, I'll go to gym. When I wanna buy things, I go to Tesco. When I'm hungry, I cook and eat. OK OK better stop now. People geddit already.

Oklah nak cerita satu. So today I called my mom and we had good 45 mins convo. At one point, I told her about some of my future plans. I know this is just a plan. Something might have came in the middle. And at the end of the day Allah is the main decider but hey, it's not wrong to have a planning, no?

So we talked about life after I've graduated. With God's willing, I'll be graduating in 2012 (Amiiinnnn) and will start working as a dentist la kan (Amiiin). I told mom I hope I'll be posted somewhere near home. Be it HUKM ke HKL ke Sg Buloh ke I still wanna stay at home. I've been away from home for too long. It's time for me to go home to accompany my mom. She's been alone almost half of her age it's time for me to repay her sacrifices.

Lepas tu cerita how I wanna further my studies to be a specialist. Wahhh besar cita-cita kau kak. Takpe2, dreaming cost nothing, it's free ;) Mak tanya where? I told her of course Malaysiaaaaa. Almost 3 years living in the foreign land and I'm starting to go nuts already, I don't think I can be separated from my home land no more. Tapi I told Mak the plan will only proceed faster if I get married earlier. OK sedikit depressing bercerita soal jodoh. Better stop here :P

me in another 20 year old. baru umur 43 umur dah camni2 sket rupe. haha. hishhh mesti kena awet muda macam makk

Anyhoo program saya berjimat cermat is hmmmm doing OK I guess. Tapi tulah, bile kita nak berjimat cermat ni la tetibe colgate habis lah. Sos habislah. Kicap dah nak abislah. OMG I can never live without kicap ok. That's like a beer to me if I'm an alcoholic. Eceyhh dah duduk sini analogy kena la ala-ala Irish. HAHA. Pigidahh lempang kang. Bertahan owhhh bertahan. If you really wanna do this, you have to do this right.

Haishkk monay monay monay monay monayyyy...Kan best kalau email spam yg selalu dapat pasal menang lottery la..business proposal laa...account inheritance la..tu smua betul. Takde risau pasal nak jimat2 duit. Gua stress je terus beli tiket, balik! :P

Disturbia

Helloooo this is another entry that I wrote early in the morning because I was just too disturbed with what happened last nite.

Dream #1

In the middle of exam's week. I thought I still had a few days before pharmacology exam. So I didn't really study. Turns out the exam was due that day (ie today in my dream, that is) I was so scared. I haven't prepared. And suddenly my hand had some bruises so I tried to use that excuse to the invigilators but they insisted that I continue with the exam after they put some meds on it. I WOKE UP FROM THE SLEEP BECAUSE IT'S JUST TOO SCARY AND TOO DISTURBING.

Is this a sign that I should start studying for my OSCE and Oral now? *sigh

Dream #2

The background setting was something similar to dormitory/hostels area. X came to me. Confessed yada yada yada. Yada yada yada. Wrote letters. Yada yada yada. Haha sorilah I can't reveal in detail what was in the dream. Malu lah.

This...I'm not really sure the meaning behind the dream. It's complicated. lol
