The last moment

It has been a ritual for our family to have potluck every Ramadhan. But since both of my grandparents' health condition are kinda worrying, we had to postpone it to the very last minute (for meself la). Alhamdulillah it still went on as planned.

At first I lost hope oredi.Tot they will never be a potluck for me this year. Hikhik.. Eventho the number of participants is lesser this year (Mak Limah, Uncle Halimi and Kak Jee couldn't make it) I still thank everyone from the bottom of my heart to make it happen..

A part of my must-do thing during Ramadhan also is to visit Pa's kubur at Ampang. Urmm..tanah perkuburan Ampang also placed some other prominent figures like the late Saloma, P Ramlee and other big names. The place is as old as KL I guess. Tahun 1938 punya pun ado (T_T)"

My late father's late father. Urm..never had a chance to know him. Info about him pun I got from the biography book made by my cousin. Nobody really told me how he was, personality-wise (or I didn't really make an effort to ask? urmm). He was an ex Police and one of the top man in BPR back then if I'm not mistaken..

Pa's. He passed away during Ramadhan 1992 at JB. I was 4++ years old at that time. Quite young eh? urm..

And tonite I had this sudden craving of A&W's float and waffle. Took all the trouble to drive my nearly emptied-fuel Wira to A&W USJ. The journey was nervewrecking. The traffic was not good, the fuel kept on hitting the "zero" mark and I have only RM20 in my purse (deadbroke di akhir cuti. tsk. *menangis kuat*) but at the end of the day, I am one satisfied and happy lady.

At first I planned to hangout with Fuzah at A&W or Old Town White Coffee tonite.I texted her asking what she's doing tonite. But the message was still pending until now. urm...her phone might go crazy again or maybe urm whatever..

sugar high baby. grrrr....

Ahh..begitulah kisah hari-hari terakhirku di Malaysia. hurm.....

Ireland 20 - Scotland 15

It has been soOoOo long since the last rugby match I've watched. I happened to watch AIB's International Cup league on tv when I was having my dinner just now. It was Eire playing against the Scotts and after long 82 mins, Eire won by 20-15. The last 10 minutes was such a nervewracking moment for Eire tho...the Scotts nearly got a try during the last few minutes..

And was it the hugging tee that the Scotts wore has given me some kind of perception that the Irish player are Moks moks (if u know what I mean..) or actually the Scotts are really tougher? I don't know...Maybe I should consider Scotland in my 5TahunMengexploreEurope Mission to answer my doubts =P

Yeah I just made that up 2 seconds ago.5TahunMengexploreEurope. Hopefully, within my 5 years (Amin. 5 years saje ok kite study. 5 years. Amin....5 yearss....no more or less..5 years....studies...practicing here or Malaysia belakang kira. janji 5 years sajork studying here) studies in here I could explore at least 10 European countries. Doesn't really matter if its only a day trip or what. Up until now I've been to Spain, UK and Eire. Come Easter I'll be going to Amsterdam and Brussels for sure. And mom wanted to go to Swiss and France so that'll make 7 countries in total. Hopefully I'll be visiting Wawa in Germany and Ila & CheNad in Czech by the end of this year. One more country to go and my 5TahunMengexploreEurope mission is done already.

So much for the travelling thoughts. Tak sedar diri sungguh there are so many things that are demanding my attention! Lab reports! Orals! Bla bla bla...

By the way my legs ache so badly today. Our tutorial ended earlier so Mich,Jo Lin and I decided to go to town. Went to like, almost all sides of the town coz apparently Mich hasn't really explored the town to the most. By 1.50pm our legs are aching so badly and we still have to go to Cork Dental Hospital for our practical. We walked back to Castlewhite. Put our things and decided to take bus to hospital. We were too tired for another 3.5km walk. Mich approximated that we walk almost 50 km already that if she were to walk from Singapore, she might be reachin Malaysia already. LOL. We were late for the practical and had to do the practical at another lab but we have to walk to and fro to shine the composites with UV light. Another 10km. The balance of our energy were used optimally to walk back to Castlewhite. Jo Lin and I took our own-sweet-turtle-pace to Castlewhite. At that time I seriously felt like crying coz I was too tired!!


p/s : Ida, I bought Remember Me already. Jangan jelessssss :P As always, my post exam reward to myself.(even if I did badly. I deserve some reward for surviving the lonely days) I bought two books (Lesson in Heartbreak by Cathy Kelly and Remember Me by Sophie Kinesella) for €22. A very good deal indeed!! (Don't convert!!)

Today, to my surpriseeeeee the balance in my account was back to 4 digits again. Aaaaaahhh....lega skit. First I planned to go to Lidl, a supermarket which kind of far from my place but the price are reasonably low (aceh...camne tu dah reasonable low pula). But come to think of it again, aaa....duet dah masuk...ape salahnye ke town. Since my biochem tutorial is cancelled today, I had to drag my lazy ass to town. Blame the 5.51am false alarm for disturbing my last sleeping phase. I had to start all over again and ended up waking up late!

Went to Eason and wallaaaaa....THE SECRET is mine now! They are currently having sale in Eason so I got the book for €11.49 only! A good bargain, I must say. This book was about RM60++ when I was in MPH. Saw 7 Habit of Highly Effective Ppl but the price was €20.30 so naa...I'll look them up in eBay later.

This is one of the book I brought with me from Msia (alongwith Sin Chan. teehehe..) I need to take this book slowly. Kenot go on speed reading with this book. Would be a big lost so this one I've been reading since months ago, slowly.

Up next is this. I love the optimism idea he brought about in Tuesdays with Morrie.

This one my bro suggested. One of the best sellers at MPH (besides the world is flat, blue ocean strategy..etc..etc..) Still searching for the best price in eBay. Else I'll just buy them from Eason. €14.99 only.

Am currently watching this one in eBay. Rose up to £1.54 already. Shoooottt...hope it won't go higher than £5! hehehehe..Tapi saya rase saya pernah nampak buku ni kat umah haritu. Erm...menyesal tak amik! hehe..

Hehe...reading is one of my favourite escapism. Besides, blogging of course. When u read, u sort of drowned into the story and left the world u live in aside. Acehh..poyo sketttt...When do I curik masa to read?
