Of first experience bringing guests around

I think this week just passed like in a blink of eyes. Tiba-tiba dah hari Ahad. In a way it's good because the boring weekdays went quickly since there are only the 2 of us. So kalau weekend cepat sampai meriah la balik rumah ni. Huuu...serius boring bila Kak Iera and Wany takde. I hope this month of February will go as soon as possible so there'll be 4 of us back in this house again XD


Anyway, rewind back to 2-3 days ago, on Wednesday. I had to ask for the wondercar's help to fetch Wawa and Aaina at town since I was too tired to take bus to the town. I had the longest day ever that Wednesday, and no Nadia sayang, it's not your fault at all! haha..in fact I learned a lot having to treat you, so thank you so much!


The next day I brought them around Cork as planned. However, the weather was a total bullshit that day. It was raining cats and dogs PLUS terrible wind nearly literally blew us off (my umbrella was blown away!!!) I felt so guilty for bringing them to the Cobh instead of Blarney because seriously with that kind of weather, going for sightseeing by the sea is totally a bad move! We ended up dragging our feets aimlessly because we couldn't really enjoy the sea view and the town is so small that it doesn't even have decent restaurants or shops to stop by!
Sayang sungguh since I'm a big fan of sea. Rasenye next time kalau depress2 mungkin boleh ke situ lagi tenangkan diri. LOL


Lepastu hari Jumaat Wawa dah pergi Dublin pulak. I sent her to bus stop for bus no 5 and went back home to sleep again, and woke up to this feeling of loneliness. Had quite a terrible headache, and the right leg buat hal balik so I texted my groupmate and said I couldn't make it to the class that afternoon. Bila Wawa and Aina dah balik tiba-tiba rasa sedih sebab sekejap sangat diorg datang. huuu...nasibla Kak Iera and Wany balik petang tu.

Watched New Moon today. Not so excited as the first one, but of course, the thought of seeing Edward itself is pretty exciting. New addition to the hot clan is Jacob and the wolves. They are the true definition of hotbod seriously, like.


Of My Gossip Girls

Earlier on today me and my girlfriends had a spontaneous conference. It was sudden, but it was really good one. Webcam sikit~ Gossip sket~ Thanks to Ema who suddenly announced she's getting married...Gossip Girls la kata kan~ Kena la laju2 spread the words. Haha..But it wasn't for long as I had to leave for New Moon. We'll do it again soon girls, soon :)


Of Exams

I don't know..But I'm so worried with myself. The exams are around the corner but I'm not studying seriously and have no fear at all. This is bad man...this is bad...I want my fear of exam again...I need it to pushed me to keep on studying...tsk


Of Flood

The condition in Cork is getting better. I was in town just now and the river seemed to have gone back to its usual level. But of course the aftermath of the flood is pretty bad. Felt bad for being all happy when I was updating about the flood. Classes are postponed for the next week because almost 2000 students had to evacuate student accomodation hall. So that's quite bad for those who had their apartments drenched out with water..the laptops, assignments, books, cars, etc.

Of Cork

Now that I've spent almost 3 years in Cork, I think I've grew fond of this place already. The town is getting more exciting with new shops in the streets. My lecturers are bunch of wonderful people. I love Cork despite whatever some people might think how boring our lives are. The only thing that make my life in Cork less bearable is the unnecessary dramas around me and now that I decided not to be bothered by that anymore, I can enjoy my life Cork more and more :)

sudah pukul 2.16pagi. saya selesema che'gu. badan kurang sihat. tapi mata masih celik. aigoo..saya rasa sudah tiba masanya untuk kita melawan symptom symptom nak meroyan yang dah lepas tu biarkan. mari kita move on. ;)

hujung minggu ini masa saya diperuntukkan khas untuk sekolah yang tercinta. terlalu cinta :P


dari minggu lepas dah berdebar-debar mahu kesekolah. macam-macam benda rasa. sampai tiba hari yang dinanti-nanti semalam. turun juga kami kesekolah yang sudah 5 tahun kami tinggalkan kelas darjahnya.
pergi mengimbau kenangan duduk tepi padang. dalam dada meluap-luap semangat kesukanan kesekolahan yang tinggi. paling terharu bila dapat nyanyikan lagu sekolah semula. rindu :') datang nonton cik abang-cik abang main ragbi. tapi eh tadi dapat tertengok hindustan pulak. tapi hindustan minus aksi menari tukar baju lapan kali lah :P takpelah cik abang-cik abang, time main emo-emo dibenarkan. tapi time dirumah kalau gaduh ngan bini jgn buat cemtu eh..

jumpa pula dengan rakan sebatch yang banyaknya tak seberapa tapi cukup untuk memeriahkan acara. alhamdulillah, banyak yang dah matang :) jadi perbualan pun jadi senang. tiada perlu rasa malu rasa boyan. semua pun kita boleh layan. dari meja gerai penjaja di depan wawasan, ke tepi padang menonton acara peringkat berkumpulan ke taman tenaga bual bicara kami teruskan.

Pulau Langkawi - A mission, accomplished!

Pergi-pergi kami naik Bas Shamisha dua tingkat. Kami dapat tingkat bawah yang mewah dan selesa boleh baring boleh tidur dengan gembira. Ya, kami jakun :)

We took Shamisha bus from Shah Alam bus station. It was a 2 storey bus and we were all very excited since this is our first time travelling with this kind of bus :)

Bertolak dari Shah Alam pada jam 10 dan tiba di Kuala Perlis pada jam 6.30 pagi, kami lantas mencari-cari tempat menaiki feri. Kami mengambil feri jam 8 pagi.

After 8.5 hours bus ride, we finally arrived at Kuala Perlis and took the earliest ferry to Langkawi.

Kami menginap di Motel Greenhill View di kawasan Pantai Chenang. Duduk di Pantai Chenang, segalanya jadi senang!

Kami menaiki Kereta Kabel. Sungguh mengerikan. Tapi terpaksa naik. Mereka paksa. Kalau tak duduk dalam kereta panas.

Despite the fear for any rides that involve heights, I finally succumbed to the peer pressure and took the cable car ride up to the mountain!

Ada 2 stesen di sini, dimana setiap stesen boleh berhenti mengamati pemandangan yang memukaukan. Perlu berjalan sedikitlah untuk ke tempat-tempat yang cantik.

There were altogether 2 stations of which you can stop to enjoy the breathtaking view.Ada jambatan gantung yang suka bergoyang-goyang ditiup angin.

Keesokan harinya, kami pergi lompat-lompat pulau.

The next day, we went for Island Hopping at Lake of Pregnant Maiden, feeding eagle and swam at Pulau Beras Basah

Fokus kepada keindahan Pulau Beras Basah. Abaikan dugong yang sedang timbul itu.

Swimming at Pulau Beras Basah is a golden chance not to be missed. Mesmerizing view with beautiful sand and green sea water.

Dan selebihnya, masa kami dihabiskan untuk membeli belah cokelat di Pekan Kuah dan bersiar-siar di Dataran Lang dan berjalan-jalan menghirup udara malam di Pantai Chenang.

The rest of the activities include shopping for chocolates at Town of Kuah (duty free shops), wandering around Dataran Land and taking a stroll enjoying the night life at Chenang Beach.

Kendatipun, perjalanan pulang tak seindah perjalanan pergi kerana bas kami naiki (Golden Diamond) mengalami masalah dan kami terpaksa bertukar bas yang lain. Pemandunya juga agak lembap dan bas agak uzur walaupun ia merupakan Executive Coach. 10 jam kemudian, kami tiba di Shah Alam dan di ambil oleh Pemimpin Bad Gurlz kami :D

We took the 12.30pm bus from Kuala Perlis and reached Shah Alam at approx 10.30pm. Yes freaking, 10 hour journey.


Trivia Langkawi :

• Accomodation : RM65 per nite for a room with double bed. Ya, kami bersempit-sempit tidur baru mesreeee...so that's RM130 for 2 nights

• Transport to Langkawi : Since this was kinda last minute decision (we planned A WEEK BEFORE!), we had to settle for the most reasonable transport - BUS! It costed RM50 per journey (so that's RM100 for a return ticket) from Shah Alam to Kuala Perlis.
  

• Island hopping : I think the range of price is between RM25-55, depending on the agents. Our price was RM35 per pax. There were 3 stops. One at Lake of Pregnant Maiden (tasik dayang bunting), Two in the middle of nowhere, where eagles are a lot and you get to see them nearer. Just sitting on the boat enjoying the eagles (?) Third - Pulau Beras Basah - superbbbbbbbbbbb nice! nice! nice! Wear appropriate attire so you could enjoy the clean water (and be prepared to get tannnedddd - or darrkkkk in my case)

• Cable car : If you hold a Malaysian Identification Card (MyKad), you are entitled for a discounted price of RM15. Where else normal price is RM30.

• Ferry ride : Costed RM18 for adult per journey. About 1.5 hour if you took from Kuala Perlis (and nearly 2-3 hours if I'm not mistaken, from Kuala Kedah)
  

• Rented car : We were very fortunate to have a contact in Langkawi so we didn't pay for this :D Thank You tuan haji Azmi! But there are a lot of people doing Car Rental business that the moment you stepped Langkawi, you will be bugged by them! Seriously! Lowest price I heard was RM30 per day.
  

• Food : Being in Malaysia, that's not a problem at all. What do you want? Western? Indian? Thai? Malaysian? Chinese? Just name it! Spent around RM15 per day for food, depends on what you had. A ready to serve food or cook-on-the-spot food!

• The last time I went to Langkawi was almost 7 years ago. Ever since that, I could see Langkawi had changed so much to cater more people from outside Malaysia. Irish Pubs, spas, boutiques, luxury dining places are the new features of Langkawi that I noticed.

• So altogether, each of us spent around RM300 for all food, accomodation, island hopping, cable car, return transport. So that's a real budget holiday y'all! Destinasi Bajet, sila ambil perhatian! gagaga...

• pasti lebih gembira jika lebih ramai sertai. Lebih-lebih lagi rakan jauh dan pemimpin Bad girlz :')
