So it's getting to the end of my visit to Brussels. I am so not ready. Tak puas lagi bergumbira disini :'(

Yesterday I went to Abbertoire (tidak pasti dengan ejaan, maaf) - a market which caters for almost everything. Barang dapur ada, barang letrik ada, buah-buahan ada, baju-baju ada. Of course, they won't be selling chicken besides the clothes, ada lah bahagian2 tertentu jual benda2 tertentu. The clothes aren't bad and most importantly, they are really cheap. And they also sell Pashmina at 1eu! The normal ones where we bought at Spain for 2.50eu, they sell it here at 1eu! Cheap ay?

Today, on the other hand we went to Woluwei (sekali lagi, tidak pasti dengan ejaan), a shopping complex not far from Mak Semah's house. Macam2 ada. C&A..H&M..Zara..Promod..Caught my eyes on almost everything..but ended up with only one thing. LOL. I'm very indecisive kata dah kan...so I need more time to shop. Kalau sapa2 ikut gwe shopping pastinya kecapekan dan ketensenan. Hee..

Saya juga gumbira mendengar cerita2 saudara2 di Malaysia. Bagaimana pemergian atuk memberi kesan kepada anak2nya.. He goes easily, silently and very fair to all his children. Tiada susahkan sesiapa. Keadaan sayu sekitar hari pemergiannya. Bagaimana pakcik saya sedih ketika keluar membeli ayam untuk majlis kenduri tahlil kerana kerja2 sebegini biasanya dilakukan bersama2 atok. Begitulah dia...setiap kali raya, pasti atok akan keluar membawa van dan seorang anak untuk menemaninya membeli ayam, daging, ikan dan bahan2 memasak. Bagaimana sekeluarga menghabiskan masa bersama2 bertadarus selepas beberapa hari pengebumiannya. Saya.Rindu.Semua :(

Okay mungkin sudah tersasar jauh dari tujuan sebenar bercerita tentang Brussels.

Urm..dimana tadi? Oh okay, Mak Semah fed me with all sort of things edible. Especially seafood. Prawns, squids, fishes. Haih...dah jadi macam Laut China Selatan dan perut saya neh T___T Terimakasih Mak Semah. And the fact that she reads my blog means she already knew what I want. Kueytiow goreng dapat. Ada kerang ada udang ada sotong mewah mewah. Ikan asam pedas yang bukan ikan mackerel dah dapat.

Oh and another notable thing is the fact that she resembles my mom melepaskan kerinduan saya pada ibu :)

I'm taking a taxy (or what they call Private Transfer sthg like that) to Charleroi at 0415am this morning. Sedikit gerun disitu memandangkan saya bakal keseorangan menaiki kenderaan itu ke Charleroi di keheningan pagi. Mak Semah cadangkan saya baca ayat-ayat AlQuran kuat-kuat. Dan perlu hubungi dia setiap 15 minit begitu. Oh semoga semua selamat T___T Nanti kalau saya tak pulang siapa mahu tampar bola di Mardyke untuk pasukan Merah (poyo)? Siapa mahu bawa colouring untuk pertandingan cupcake deco (ya, diimport dari Brussels)?

Semoga saya berjaya membawa bihun serunding suun cokolat karipapfrozen kopiaikcheong (kalau boleh dia mahu saya bawa semua benda di garajnya mungkin? ho ho) dengan selamat tanpa dibuang orang airport.

Semoga saya sempat melepasi imigresen Dublin yang menjengkelkan dan sempat berlari2 untuk check-in untuk menaiki pesawat ke Cork dalam masa sejam

Dan untuk itu semoga pesawat tidak ditangguhkan esok. NO RYAN AIR, PLEASE. NOT TOMORROW. PLEASE. I NEED TO GET MY ASS BACK TO CORK ASAP TOMORROW (eventhough my heart is screaming to stay longer here :'(

Hello all. Update from Bruxelles is dedicated especially for my housemates.

Arrived Airport Dublin on Tuesday's night approx at 12. To my disappointment the usual ''sleeping place'' at the Mezzanine floor was closed for some cleaning session ke hapetah. Ku bawa diri lara ke tempat duduk besi gila sejuk. Tapi kerana orang disebelah membuka kasutnya dan stokin berbau busuk, ku lari jauh2 ke tempat duduk lain. Lucky me the dining place were opened back after 2am.

Cut the story short I arrived Bruxelles Charleroi at 1045am. Took bus and arrived Kraainem at approx 1pm. Kudos for Mak Semah for finally overcoming her fear of driving coz she actually drove to the Kraainem Metro to get me. *clap clap*

Okay here's the best part. Now my housemates, pls pay a close attention to this :

Upon arrival I was served - homemade karipap gila sedap, rendang ayam, kari udang, sayur tak ingat, ikan masak lemak. Petang2 makan bubur jagung manis tapi sedap, murtabak Raja made in Kelate, dan menculik seketul ayam drummet milik sepupu. Malam pula kerumah pegawai dan dijamu ikan BAWAL masak sweet sour, ayam masak lemak, suun dan kentang goreng kicap, udang masak butter, dan dijamu dessert urm sagu dan santan dan gula merah dan juga air kelapa muda ke apetah.

Pagi ini pula saya dijamu KUEYTIOW GORENG yang digoreng bersama sotong dan udang yang sedap. Tengahari saya makan ikan goreng masak sedap (tatau camne nak describe) bersama sayur sawi dan sayur campur (cubaan untuk makan dengan terkawal dengan membanyakkan sayur kerana telah disumpah gemuk oleh Mihah setelah brag dapat makan murtabak Raja semalam)

Haish...ini Bruxelles kah syurga makanan?

Bruxelles Day 1.5 + Day 2

After we had late lunch at Mak Semah's we went to the Grand Place (pronounced as Plus). Since we still got time before we go to the hotel..

Grand Place is the main attraction of Bruxelles and basically all the shopkeepersthere are used to having visitors like us. BUT they are still confused whether we are Malaysian or Indonesian so everytime we passed by the shops they wud go "INDONESIE? MALAYSIE?" Huhuhu...

There was this one stretch of small road dipenuhi seafood restaurant yang menggiurkan. And almost ALL of them would greet us with salaam to attract us into their shop. But sorry la we are so full with Mak Semah's dishes (err..eventho sempat lagi melantak waffle) of course tak berrenti. But I have to admit those seafood luck sooooo deliciouss!!


The next day we woke up pretty late. The previous day consumed too much of energy that we couldn't even open our eyes that morning. Had rendang ayam and pulut kuning (Mak Semah bekalkan) AND maggi (ada orang claim kita harus breakfast like a king..so yeah..fine..whatever~). We even promised not to have our lunch which was, obviously broken. hahahhahaa..konon nak jimat duit taknak makan semua laa..

We saved a lot on transportation. I suggest anyone yang nak pegi jalan2 kat Bruxelles do come in group of 5. Bleh beli tiket group so basically u wud spend only 2ueu per day, unlimited nye perjalanan coz u can purchase a group ticket for only 10eu!

Mini Europe, as the name implies, contains (ape betulke penggunaan perkataan neh?) miniatures of landmarks of Europe nye cities Eiffel tower of Paris, Big Ben of London, Torro del Oro of Malaga and...for Ireland..BLARNEY CASTLE. Ahahahha..lame giler! Sure dah takde idea dah tu..But it's quite costly la..Paying 12.40eu to see all those buildings..huermm..But for the sake of going there kan..Rasenye kat Amsterdam pun ade gak

Later that evening we went to Grand Place, AGAIN. Me and Nida managed to convince them to eat seafood dengan alasan kita dah banyak save on transport. But later we were seduced into some Arabian ke Morocco ke apetah punye kedai..cisss ciss kacang bunciss..And we were offered segala daging2 halal yang boleh dimakan atas darat ni with the price of 11eu per head. Ciss..tergoda jua akhirnyaa...



Disebabkan tiada mahu membazir, we sneaked the leftover dagings (coz terlampau BANYAK) in the aluminium foil. Dahla buat muka pencurik eventho we paid for the food. Muahahaha...adoih..lawak gils..

Jalan-jalan and shopped for our chocs and souvenir, and we went back to our hotel, Formule 1 hotel :)
