The new landlord

Day by day, I kept promising myself "ok, malam ni kita start study" but each time when the sky turns dark, my energy level is almost always zero. Macam mana ini kawan-kawan...macam mana mahu lawan /(-__-)\

These few days I've been busy with the new house. Kalau la rumah tu dah ada internet, memang saya dah tidur sana dah penatlah hari-hari ulang alik macam ini. And oh, our new landlord is (so far), super nice! Here's a few situations yg saya rasa dia sangat comel sekali :

#1 Sebagai org Melayu, mustilah kita adalah tidak memakai kasut didalam rumah kan. Tapi tidak bagi orang Irish. Jadi pastilah mereka pelik melihat kami berkaki ayam didalam rumah.

Dr M enters the house and surprised that we didn't put on the shoes in the house. So we explained.
Dr M : Oh you are gonna get a cold feet if you don't wear shoes!
Us : No we're not.
Dr M : Yes you will!

#2 Sangat berbeza dengan tuan rumah kami sekarang, Dr M berusaha untuk mengingati nama kami semua

D : I'm Da-yah
Dr M : De-yeh? allrite
W : I'm Wa-ny
Dr M *buat muka pelik*
Dr M : Weny? Not Winnie?
I : I'm I-ra
Dr M : Ira (boleh pronounce dgn baik. lepas disitu)

decided not to confused him with Kak Iera's name, I introduced myself as Nad instead
N : I'm NAD
Dr M : Nat? As in N-A-T (he spelled)
N : No no. It's N-A-D

after a while
Dr M : Ted, is it?
N : nooo...it's nadddd..*hahahaha*

#3 Kerana jumlah kasut kami yg terlampau, we asked for shoe rack.

Dr M pulls off muka pelik lagi.
Dr M : Oh I've never seen one here in Ireland. Hurmm..but I've seen one in Spain
LOL.
*bebel-bebel pasal tak pernah tengok shoe rack*
Dr M : Excuse me. Have I been whiny? This is my 1st time of having 4 girls. I have only 3 back home and that's including my wife and my 2 daughters.
N : Yes, now you have 7 altogether.

#5 Mereka mahu berBBQ dan menonton final bola dirumah kami, lantas kami minta Dr M dapatkan aerial supaya TV boleh berfungsi

N : Is it possible if you fix the tv before this Wednesday? We wanna watch the final football match

Dr M widens his eyes

Dr M : No you gals don't watch football!
N : Yes we do!!
Dr M : You gals need to study
D : But we are done with the examss...

#4 Rumah kami sangat-sangat dekat dengan Wilton Shopping Centre (jangan tertipu. takdelah "shopping centre" sangat. setakat ada tesco dan beberapa kedai tambahan sahaja). Oleh kerana barang-barang yang dibeli adalah besar dan berat seperti duvet, sarung duvet dsbgnya, kami pun mencuri sementara troli Tesco untuk dibawa kerumah. Setelah melintas jalan di traffic light dengan muka yang tebal (dahlah kulit mmg tebal), kami terserempak dengan Dr M di luar rumah..

Dr. M buat muka pelik lagi. hahaha...mesti dia ingat kami ni budak busuk "(T__T)" He closes his eyes with his hands
Dr M : No no..I didn't see this. I see nothing. Nada!
N & W : *laughs* we are going to return this back
Dr M : oh okay. I'm going to call the police saying that you are going to return this back.

#5 Terserempak lagi dengan dia di luar rumah membawa our new shoe rack. hehehe..

Dr M : Alright gals, are this good enough
N : Yes, this is perfect. Thank you!

*bebel2 pasal tak dapat cari aerial TV nak betulkan.

Dr M : I'm going to call my friend who is good with fixing this for opinion. I think I have the extension *something2 saya tak paham* at home, I'm gonna get back to you later

kerana kasihan melihat dia bertungkus-lumus, so I said

N : It's okay if you couldn't fix this today....*buat muka sedih* or tomorrow
Dr M : Why don't you watch the match at the pub
N : No we don't go to pub!!!!
Dr M : Now that you are in Ireland, you have to go to pub gals.
N : No we can't!!
Dr M : alright. I'll try to to get this fixed later alright?

So far he's been quite a nice landlord. Hope things would be okay throughout our stay. Kalau boleh saya malas mahu pindah rumah sudah. Penat lah pindah2 ini +___+
